Access also has a team of experienced individuals who, whilst not directly involved, have agreed to support the project by providing advice and expertise.
Patricia Hargreaves: Patricia’s career includes considerable experience in Church leadership at the Salvation Army anda successful role as Marketing Manager for UCB. She was also a director of the lobbying group Centre for Justice and Liberty which led the campaign to changed to the UK law to allow Christian stations in the UK. Patricia will be advising the project in the areas of fundraising, administration and marketing.
Stephen Cardy: As a former IBEC executive (Irish employers association) and training consultant Stephen has extensive experience in business and management. Currently working for the Evangelical Alliance of Ireland he has a long association with Christian media having represented Focus on the Family in Ireland for several years. He’s also a director of Irish Christian Broadcasters and served as CEO of Yes Radio.
Gareth Littler: Gareth spent much of his career as an executive in the areas of IT and communications and in 1993 he took up the position of MD with United Christian Broadcasters. During his tenure the organisation saw unprecedented growth into the multi-million pound charity that it is today. Gareth left UCB in 2001 to set up the Centre for Justice and Liberty and, alongside Patricia Hargreaves (see above) successfully campaigned to change the UK law.
David Robinson: David has been a long time campaigner for Christian radio in the UK and Ireland and played a key role in the development of the Christian radio industry. He now runs Studio18 productions based in Portadown and is an accomplished broadcaster and writer.
